GlenDronach Ode to the Valley is a single malt named for the Valley of Forgue, where the distillery has stood since 1826. It is bottled at 46.2% in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration.
The whisky is matured solely in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose offers dried fruits, dark cherries, honeyed malt, toasted oak and soft spice. On the palate come raisin, plum, dark chocolate and toffee, with gentle oak. The finish is long and warming, with lingering fruit and subtle spice.
