This is a Highland single malt from Glendronach, bottled at 46.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is an original distillery bottling and has spent time in port casks. Glendronach was founded in 1826 by James Allardice on the Dronachburn, in the Valley of Forgue north-east of Huntly in Aberdeenshire. For a long time the distillery matured almost entirely in Oloroso sherry casks, and that still shapes its style. It now belongs to the Benriach Distillery Company, alongside Glenglassaugh and Benriach.
