GlenDronach Peated is a Highland single malt bottled at 46%. It was matured first in bourbon casks, then moved into Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
Gentle peat and smoke sit alongside crisp fruit and the malty character of the Highlands.
The nose is of ripe gooseberries with cinnamon sugar and a little citrus, over delicate smoke, malt, vanilla and caramel. Spiced oak, flowers, heather honey and white pepper lead the palate, and the finish is deep, with light peat and smoke.
