This is a single malt Scotch from Glendronach, matured in port wood. The nose is fruity, with blackberries, strawberries and plum, and heavier notes of sandalwood and ginger sit behind them. On the palate it is full and fruity, with baked apple, dark cherries, blackberries and a little orange. A pleasing sweetness runs through it, and the finish carries a light spiciness.
