Ode to the Valley is a Glendronach single malt from The Master's Anthology, bottled at 46.2%. It matured in ruby port casks from Portugal's Douro valley together with the distillery's signature sherry casks. The colour is burnished copper.
The nose offers late summer berries and chocolate dulce de leche, with demerara sweetness and apricot glaze. On the palate there are blackberry, roasted apple crumble, gingerbread and damson plum.
The finish brings black cherry cake, liquorice and acacia honey.
