GlenDronach – Traditionally Peated (48%)

GlenDronach Traditionally Peated is a single malt from the GlenDronach distillery in the Scottish Highlands, bottled at 48%. It is made from barley dried over peat and matured in carefully chosen oak casks. The whisky has a golden colour. In the glass it is usually described as smoky, with spice and a light sweetness. The nose offers toffee, honey and smoke. On the palate come spicy notes of orange and cloves, with the smoke sitting alongside, and liquorice and dark fruit late on. The finish is long and lingering.
