Glenfarclas – 190th Anniversary Edition (70cl, 51.4%)

Glenfarclas 190th Anniversary Edition is a limited single malt released to mark 190 years of the distillery. It brings together whiskies from five different decades, chosen from 78 casks, with the oldest components dating from the 1970s. Distillery manager Callum Fraser and managing director Douglas Belford made the selection. It is bottled at 51.4% in a 70cl bottle. The nose offers green apple, raisin, candied orange peel and caramel with tobacco and spice. The palate pairs malty sweetness with spiced fruit bread, toffee and dried fruits, and the finish is long, with dark chocolate, tobacco and warming spices.
