Glenglassaugh – Portsoy (70cl, 49.1%)

Glenglassaugh Portsoy is a Highland single malt bottled by the distillery at 49.1% in a 70cl bottle. It was introduced in summer 2023 as part of the revamped core range, alongside Glenglassaugh Sandend and the 12-year-old. It was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, sherry and port casks, selected and blended by Brown-Forman master blender Rachel Barrie. The colour is deep amber. The nose is maritime, with tropical fruit, sherried dark soy, port, liquorice and sea kelp. On the palate come dark chocolate, fermented soy, charred mango, treacle and a little sea salt.
