This is a 2011 single malt from Glenglassaugh, bottled independently by Michel Reick for The Old Friends series. It is bottled at 53.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Glenglassaugh was founded in 1875 and has been out of operation for almost half of the time since. The distillery stands close to the sea near Portsoy in the Highlands, between the Spey and the Deveron, and takes its water from the Glenglassaugh valley.
