Glenglassaugh Revival is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is the first whisky made at Glenglassaugh since the distillery reopened in 2008, after being closed in 1986.
It was matured in first-fill and refill bourbon casks, then finished for six months in first-fill oloroso sherry butts. Ex-red wine casks are also part of the mix.
The nose offers caramel, toffee, nutty sherry, milk chocolate and honey, with ripe plums, red berries and oranges. The palate is sweet, rounded and creamy, and the finish is medium, with mulled-wine spices.
