This is a relaunched Glengoyne 15 Year Old, a Highland single malt that returned to the distillery's range in autumn 2022 after a gap of several years.
It is made up of first fill bourbon casks (20%), first fill sherry casks (25%) and refill casks (55%), and is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The colour is light amber.
The nose brings malt flour, fresh hay, dried fruit, citrus and rosehip. The palate is clean with gentle sweetness, a hint of tropical fruit, candied lemon, cinnamon, vanilla and apple pie. The finish is dry, with gentle spice and lingering oak.
