Glenkinchie 12 Years Old is a Lowland single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and refill casks.
Tasting notes describe a fragrant nose of lavender, chamomile and orchard blossom with green apple, lemon zest and a faint grassy note. The palate is light to medium in body and silky, with vanilla, honeydew melon and shortbread, balanced by white pepper and a little oak. The finish is medium, with lingering sweetness, lemon peel, green tea and a wisp of smoke.
