Glenlivet – 15 Year Old French Oak Reserve (70cl, 40%)

Glenlivet 15 Year Old French Oak Reserve is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is finished in Cognac casks made from French oak. The Limousin oak comes from the Dordogne region of France and is often used to mature Cognac. Glenlivet was one of the first distilleries to use French oak for whisky. The wood's low density lets the spirit move deep into it, and the controlled period in these casks gives a distinctive, pleasant spiciness.
