A 21 year old Glenlivet single malt from Speyside, part of The Sample Room Collection, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV.
It is finished in three casks: first-fill Oloroso sherry, Tronçais oak Cognac and Colheita vintage Port. The sherry is credited with richness, the Cognac with spice and the Port with ripe fruit and sweetness.
The nose is caramelised pear and sultana. On the palate come dried apricots, chocolate-coated ginger and spiced warmth.
