This is a 21 year old single malt from Glenlivet, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is part of The Sample Room release, named after the creative heart of the distillery, where the makers test and refine their whiskies.
After maturing in traditional casks, it was given a triple cask finish in first-fill Oloroso sherry, Tronçais cognac and Colheita Vintage Port casks.
It is described as having caramelised pears and juicy raisins, mixed with fragrant nutmeg and warming cinnamon from the cognac cask.
