Glenlivet Archive 21 Years (70cl, 43%)

Glenlivet Archive is a 21 year old single malt from The Glenlivet, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery lies in the small valley of the river Livet, which runs into the Spey, and was the first in the area to be licensed. Its malt is only lightly peated, and most of its casks have held sherry at some point, with a fairly small share of first-fill casks. The name The Glenlivet may appear only on the distillery's own bottlings, which carry a small line crediting its founders, George and J. G. Smith.
