Glenlivet Caskmakers is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is matured in Spanish sherry casks and European oak casks. These were first taken apart and then rebuilt into single casks made from both kinds of wood.
The nose offers ripe pears, honey, aromatic sweetness, spice and oak. On the palate it is sweet and fruity, with dried fruit, plums, roasted pineapple and spice, along with a slightly smoky note.
