Glenlivet – Groundbreaker Collection Chapter 1 (70cl, 40%)

Glenlivet Groundbreaker Collection Chapter 1 is a limited-edition single malt at 40% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The collection is built around travel and creativity, and this first chapter was made in collaboration with the Malaysian artist Red Hong Yi, who is known for painting with fire by charring red pigmented paper. The whisky was finished in extra-charred American oak and in European red wine casks. The nose is typically described as creamy toffee and fresh vanilla pod, with hints of wild berries and dried fruit. On the palate come plum, banana and raspberry jam, then gingerbread-like sweetness, caramel and nutmeg spice.
