Glenlivet Rare Cask Small Batch Edition, Batch 9378/017, is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% in a one-litre bottle. It is a limited release, made from a selection of American white oak, ex-sherry and traditional casks. It has no added colour.
The nose shows ripe fruit, vanilla and a touch of spice, with floral notes and soft oak. The palate is full and round, balancing sweet and spicy elements, with dried fruit, caramel and fine chocolate. The finish is long, with warm oak and subtle spice.
