This is a Glenmorangie single malt, ten years old, from the 1980s. It was bottled at 43% in an Imperial Quart bottle holding 1.13 litres. The colour is straw. The nose starts smoky, mineral and flinty before turning grassier and waxier, with gooseberries and butter pears. The palate is sweet, thick and creamy, with malt growing stronger through toasted bread, coffee, crème brûlée, overripe apples and hints of redcurrant. The finish stays big, in keeping with the rest.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
