A Glenmorangie 10 Year Old from a 1980s bottling, a single malt from the Northern Highlands of Scotland, bottled at 40%. It is straw in colour. The nose is fresh, flinty and mineral with an unexpected smokiness, turning grassier and waxier with gooseberries and butter pears. The palate is sweet, thick, creamy and malty with a few salty touches, then toasted bread, coffee, crème brûlée, overripe apples and redcurrants. In the finish the saltiness and maltiness both grow stronger.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
