A 12 year old Glenmorangie single malt, bottled in 2022 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle as part of the Barrel Select series. It was a first for the distillery.
The whisky was aged in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished for a further four years in Palo Cortado sherry casks.
It is described as showing ripe dark plums, rich milk chocolate, Brazil nuts and sweet vanilla spice, coming together on a finish of dry oak.
