Glenmorangie – 12 Year Old The Original (70cl, 40%)

Glenmorangie 12 Year Old The Original is a Highland single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is the distillery's own bottling and the starting point of the Glenmorangie range. The whisky matured fully in bourbon casks, with no additional finish, which brings out a soft, creamy character with lively fruit. The stills have necks 5.14 metres tall, which lets particularly light vapours rise, and the distillery uses its casks only twice. The nose has citrus and ripe peach with gentle vanilla. The palate opens with vanilla, then floral fruit, honey, orange and peach. The finish is long, nutty and sweet, with almond, coconut and a touch of maple syrup.
