Glenmorangie 12 Years Calvados Cask is a Northern Highlands single malt from the Barrel Select Reserve range, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
The whisky spent ten years in ex-Bourbon casks, then two years in 20-year-old calvados casks from the Pays d'Auge in Normandy.
The nose has apple, jasmine, pear, honey, vanilla and pastry. The palate is fresh and fruity, with stewed pear, toffee, aniseed, lime and a slight bitterness. The finish is soft and fresh.
