This is a 14 year old single malt from Glenmorangie, the Highland distillery in Tain, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. Quinta Ruban is the port wood expression in the Glenmorangie range.
The distillery was founded by William Mathieson in 1849. It uses the tallest stills in Scotland, which it says bring more aroma into the whisky, and it is known for its experimental wood finishes.
