A Glenmorangie 15 Year Old distillery bottling from around 2000, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. The expression was later discontinued, ahead of the distillery's brand relaunch in 2007.
The whisky was first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then given a secondary maturation in new oak casks. The fresh oak is described as adding gentle spice, vanilla and toasted sweetness, while the fruity character of the distillery remains in the foreground.
