Glenmorangie 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt in a bottling from around 2005, at 43% ABV. It is gold in colour.
The nose is farmy, with butter, grain and lentil soup, along with spice and a nutty character that is more complex than the usual nuttiness.
On the palate there is leather, herbs and parsley, with plenty of oak and vanilla. It turns spicy and leads into a long finish of salted liquorice.
