Glenmorangie The Vindima is a 16-year-old single malt from Tain in the northern Highlands, bottled at 43% in a 1-litre bottle for travel retail. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colouring. It marries whisky matured in bourbon casks with whisky finished in Malmsey Madeira casks, the sweetest style of Madeira. The name is that of the Madeira grape harvest festival, and the purple packaging echoes the colour of ripe grapes. The nose has baked peach and orange, cocoa, creamy vanilla and honey, with honeysuckle, jasmine and clove blossom. The palate is dense and syrupy: candied orange peel, sultanas, milk chocolate truffle, aniseed, cinnamon, sweet chilli and clove, plus hazelnut, wood and a touch of smoke. The long finish stays winey and grapey, with red apple, cherry lemonade and chocolate-coated gingerbread.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
