Glenmorangie – 18 Year Old

Glenmorangie 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt that spends its first 15 years in Bourbon casks. After that, 30% of the whisky moves into Oloroso sherry casks, while the rest stays in Bourbon wood. The two parts are blended and bottled once both have reached 18 years. The nose is rounded and sweet, with dried fruits and a complex floral fragrance. On the palate honey, malt and floral notes sit in balance, with dates and figs developing later alongside a hint of soft wood smoke. The finish is long and sweet, with dried fruits and nuts.
