Glenmorangie – A Tale of Spices

Glenmorangie A Tale of Spices is a Highland single malt from Scotland. The nose is spicy and sweet, with roses, clove pinks, jasmine and lilac alongside the scent of a spice market: cumin, saffron, nutmeg, ginger, chilli and aniseed, with some sweet oak and chestnut. A few drops of water bring out fruit, a hint of menthol and bread dough. The palate is intense and spicy, with plenty of ginger, black pepper, mustard seed and a strong earthiness. Mint sweets, brown cane sugar and burnt almonds add a gentle sweetness, and a clear note of eucalyptus runs underneath.
