Glenmorangie – A Tale Of The Forest Limited Edition (70cl)

A limited edition single malt from Glenmorangie, in a 70cl bottle. It was made by an old method of kilning the barley with botanicals, in this case juniper berries, birch bark and heather blossom. The idea behind it was a whisky shaped by the scents, sights and sounds of the forest. The nose has pine, juniper and coriander with wisps of smoke. Eucalyptus and bitter orange come through on the palate, leading to a slow, gentle oak finish.
