Glenmorangie – A Tale of Tokyo (70cl, 43%)

Glenmorangie A Tale of Tokyo is a Highland single malt from Scotland, made as a tribute to the city of Tokyo. It is a limited edition, in a 70cl bottle at 43%. Part of the whisky was matured in Japanese Mizunara oak casks, alongside bourbon and sherry casks, joining Scottish tradition with Japanese inspiration. Its colour is coppery gold. The nose brings intense herbs, toffee, incense, cedar and resin. The palate starts slightly peppery, then moves to sour orange, bitter cherries, fennel and chewy oak. The finish is long and delicate, with almonds, tangerine, ground white pepper and more wood resin.
