This is a 12 year old Highland single malt from Glenmorangie, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It spent 10 years in American oak before a further 2 years in Premier Cru wine casks.
The nose is smooth, with blossom, acacia honey, grass and beeswax, plus damson jam and apricot crumble. The palate is sweet, with oak, allspice and a touch of Madeira, along with arak and vinous notes. The finish is long and spicy, with lingering fruit and barley sugar.
