This is a Glenmorangie single malt Scotch whisky finished in Madeira wood, bottled in 2004. Its colour is gold.
The nose is quite strong with Madeira, raisins and pink grapefruit, followed by caramel, citrus, white wine, apple skins and black pepper. On the palate there is burnt caramel and a winey, meaty richness, cut through with lemon juice, then sweet wine and a toffee note.
The finish is long.
