Glenmorangie Madeira Wood Finish is a Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. This is an older bottling of the expression.
The whisky was first matured in American oak casks, then racked into selected Madeira drums for extra ageing in the final years of its maturation. It is handcrafted by the Sixteen Men of Tain. The colour is bright amber with a slight orange hue.
The palate is smooth yet fresh, with citrus and spice. The wine cask finish adds a slight sweetness, balanced by some tangy flavours.
