A 12-year-old Highland single malt from Glenmorangie, part of the Extra Matured range. It first matured in ex-bourbon casks, then went into casks that previously held Sauternes, the sweet white wine of Bordeaux.
The whisky is non-chill-filtered. This edition has been bottled since 2010 and comes in a gift box.
It is described as very balanced, with a mix of finesse and richness in its aromas.
