Glenmorangie Original 1974 is a Highland single malt, bottled in 1999 as a Commemorative Millennium Bottling. This one is bottle number 383 of 2000, bottled at 43% in a 50cl bottle.
The nose is light and fresh, with dry hay, beeswax, fruit salad and smoked ham, kept in balance by a lively acidity. On the palate it is full and slightly sweet, with creamy cereal, lightly salted butter on toast, tiramisu and winter berries. The finish is long and rich, with malted barley lingering.
