A Highland single malt Scotch whisky from Glenmorangie, bottled at 43% ABV. It is first matured in American white oak casks, then finished in port pipes that previously held port wine.
The nose is bright and citrusy, with ripe plum, dried apricot, cinnamon, mint and toasted oak. The palate is rich and creamy, with dark cherry, toffee, roasted nuts and sweet vanilla.
The finish is long, leaving dried figs and warm spices.
