Allta is the tenth release in Glenmorangie's Private Edition collection, launched in 2019. It is a single malt matured in former bourbon casks and bottled at 51.2% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit was distilled from a wort fermented with a natural yeast found near the Glenmorangie distillery. The name is the Gaelic word for wild.
It is described as having indulgent aromas, followed by a fresh finish with light notes of mint and spice.
