Spios is the ninth release in the Glenmorangie Private Edition series, a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle. The name is the Gaelic word for spice.
The spiciness comes from the maturation, which took place entirely in casks that previously held American rye whiskey. Rye takes its name from the grain it is made from.
