Glenmorangie – Quinta Ruban 14 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban 14 Year Old is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% without chill-filtering or added colour. It spends at least ten years in ex-bourbon casks of American white oak, then continues in Ruby port casks from Portuguese estates, known as quintas, until it reaches 14 years. The port casks add dark chocolate and a mix of sweet and dry flavours to the fruity distillery character. The nose is fruity and floral with a tart orange note, sandalwood and dark chocolate. The palate is rich and velvety, with mint chocolate, fruit sweets and ripe mandarin. The finish is long, with chocolate, mint, orange and nutty notes.
