A 15 year old Highland single malt from Glenmorangie, matured for 10 years in American oak and then finished for a further 5 years in Sauternes wine casks.
The nose is sweet and refined, with honey, apricot and vanilla, and hints of oak, citrus and floral tones. The palate shows caramelised fruit, toasted almonds and gentle spice, with a touch of oak and honey. The finish is long and warming, with vanilla, dried fruit and soft spice.
