Glenmorangie – Signet 2025 (70cl, 46%)

Glenmorangie Signet is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% and not chill-filtered. Once a year the distillery distils a spirit from heavily roasted chocolate malt, which gives the whisky its coffee and chocolate character. Bourbon casks add a creamy side, sherry casks bring sweetness and new charred oak adds spice. Some of the oldest stocks held at the distillery are part of the mix. The nose combines espresso, dark chocolate, mocha and toffee with roasted spices. The palate is velvety and full, with mocha, chocolate orange, creamy malt and cinnamon. The finish is long, with bitter cocoa and lingering coffee, sweet spice and a note of fresh citrus.
