Glenmorangie – Signet (70cl)

Glenmorangie Signet is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, inspired by the love of coffee of Dr Bill, the distillery's master distiller. It begins with a distillation made only once a year in the distillery's tall stills, said to be the tallest in Scotland, and the spirit has an espresso-like intensity. That power is tempered over the years in casks: bourbon for creaminess, sherry for sweetness and charred virgin oak for spice. Some of the oldest whiskies held by the distillery are used to balance it. The nose recalls an Italian coffee bar, with cinnamon and orange peel. The palate has vibrant spice, coffee, caramel, melted chocolate and tiramisu. The finish is lasting and spiced.
