Glenmorangie – Signet (70cl, 46%)

Glenmorangie Signet is a Highland single malt bottled at 46%, in a 70cl bottle. Part of the malt used is chocolate malt, a barley roasted in the way coffee is, and it is blended with Glenmorangie whiskies, some of them more than thirty years old. The whisky has matured in bourbon casks, ex-oloroso casks and American oak casks made to the distillery's own specification. The nose brings roasted coffee, cocoa, orange zest, lavender and spice. The palate is rich and lively, with pecan, ginger, blackberry, blueberry and honey. The finish is long and smooth, with black grape, toffee and hazelnut.
