Glenmorangie 'The Culloden Bottle' is a 1971 vintage Highland single malt, released in 1995 for the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Culloden. It was made in collaboration with the National Museum of Scotland, and 2,500 bottles were produced. The bottle design takes its inspiration from an 18th-century flask from Culloden House. The nose is layered, with peach, dried orange peel, caramelised sugar, hazelnut, vanilla and honey, lifted by peppermint. The palate is fruity and creamy, with dried berries, black pepper and spicy wood. The finish is long and warming, with malted barley, dark fruit and oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
