Glenmorangie The Lasanta is a 12 year old whisky bottled at 43% ABV. It was matured for twelve years in bourbon and sherry casks.
It starts with Glenmorangie's tall stills, which give a delicate, fruity spirit. The cask maturation then adds rich spice and a sun-soaked sweetness, an effect the distillery likens to a sunset.
In the glass it is described as showing raisins, honeycomb and chocolate-covered hazelnuts, lifted by a touch of cinnamon.
