Glenmorangie The Nectar D'Or is a Scotch single malt bottled at 46%. It matures first in American white oak casks, then moves into hand-picked Sauternes wine barriques from France's oldest and most famous sweet wine region. The Sauternes finish adds honeyed and spicy notes to a soft, complex whisky, balancing sweet, spicy and dessert-like aromas. It is described as white chocolate woven with lemon cream, caramel cream and almond croissant, with a gentle drumbeat of spice running underneath.
