Glenmorangie – X (70cl, 40%)

Glenmorangie X is a Highland single malt that the distillery designed to work in long drinks and cocktails. It can also be drunk neat or over ice. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The character is the fruity, sweet style associated with Glenmorangie, with pear, orange and vanilla to the fore and creamy, dessert-like notes behind them. On the nose there is pear, vanilla, honeysuckle and orange. The palate brings orange sorbet, crème brûlée and chocolate sauce, and the finish is sweet, intense and lingering.
