This is a Glenrothes 10 Year Old from the Sample Room series, a Speyside single malt distilled on 8th October 1989. Berry Bros & Rudd bottled it on 26th February 2000 at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Glenrothes ferments in a mix of steel and wood and distils in very tall stills, which allows a long, slow run. Most of its maturation takes place in ex-sherry casks, both European and American, with some ex-bourbon.
